Your Fitness

At Brighton Jitsu Club, we welcome individuals of all fitness levels. Our goal is to foster an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive, regardless of their starting point. We are committed to helping you enhance both your physical fitness and mental fortitude. It’s perfectly normal to experience some soreness after a session, especially if you’re just getting back into training. Rest assured, we offer guidance on improving your strength and overall fitness. we can scale any activity or technique to your capabilities, ensuring that no one is left out. So don’t let your current fitness level hold you back—come join us and embark on a transformative journey towards better health and resilience and learn something fun along the way.

Fees

As we have just stopped training at Brighton University Sports Center.

Costs are simple and we try to keep it as cheap as possible, as we are a not-for-profit organisation.

Brighton Town Club is £5 per session (£3 for students)

Other Fees

TJF licence & insurance is £33 per year.

Gradings

When your instructor thinks you are ready, is approximately £15 this depends on the venue. They are in no way compulsory, gradings are held every 3 months.

Gi’s and Club Badges

We recommend you buy a white or blue judo/BJJ Gi with minimal branding and logos.

We found this Gi on Amazon that should be good for a student’s budget.

We can supply the club badge at £6.

Your Gi should be a Judo or BJJ Gi either white or blue, with a minimal amount of labels and badges. and should last well over 5 years, time enough to get your black belt 🙂.
